Drama Games: 1 to 20

Summary

This game is played with more than two players ideally. The goal is simple: count to 20 without any interruptions. It's one of our favourite games to make sure everyone has arrived in the room and is ready to focus on the tasks ahead.

Focus/ Skills

Concentration, Trust, Focus, Team Work, Communication.

Description

Spread all players in different places all over the room. Make sure there is enough space between each player, so no one gets distracted. This game can be played standing or seated. Everyone closes their eyes. The difficulty is that everyone will have to sense the atmosphere in the room. Start counting. One person at a time. No one is allowed to speak over anyone else. If two or more people start to count at the same time, the game is over and you try again.

Variations

Variation one

If you managed to get to 20 easily, try and count backwards. This will make things a bit more complicated.

Variation two

Of course, if everyone can count to twenty in a different language this will become even trickier
